Job summary

The role requires a valid IL RN license, BSN preferred (ADN acceptable with BSN progression), at least two years of OR nursing experience including scrubbing and circulating, and flexibility to work 10-hour shifts or 8-hour shifts from 1pm to 11:30pm, Monday

Qualifications

• Active IL RN license required.
• Two years OR nursing experience required, including scrubbing/circulating.
• Charge nurse experience required.
• BSN preferred; ADN acceptable with BSN progression plan.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily OR operations and staffing for the Main OR.
• Ensure policies, safety regulations and behavioral expectations are followed.
• Provide guidance and support to staff; act as a resource for problems.
• Direct reports performance and coordinate training as needed.
• Maintain high standards of patient care and department efficiency.
