Job summary

Brentwood Place One in Dallas, TX is seeking a friendly Registered Nurse to render nursing care within the scope of practice, meeting patient needs as per physician orders and center policies. The role requires an LVN/LPN license and BLS/CPR certification, with preference for nursing management experience.

Shifts include 6AM-2PM, 2PM-10PM, 10PM-6AM and double weekend coverage (Sat+Sun 7AM-11PM). This is a full-time position offering standard benefits and support from a caring team.

Qualifications

• Current LVN/LPN license in practicing state.
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to acquire one.
• Experience in nursing management is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Follows established procedure for charting and incident reporting.
• Follows company procedures for narcotic counting, pharmacy orders, and restraint reduction.
• Documents any change in patient's conditions including but not limited to nutritional problems, infections, skin conditions, weight loss or any other noticeable changes.
• Utilizes the Quality Life Manual for identification, placement, and monitoring of patients in the appropriate programs.
• Document and notify applicable departments of any patient's room changes, LOA, new admits, or discharges.
• Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.
