Job summary

Brentwood Campus of Care in Dallas is seeking a friendly Registered Nurse to render nursing care within the scope of practice and center policies. You will work as part of our care team to meet residents' needs in a safe, compassionate environment.

We offer full-time shifts with double weekends and competitive pay from $25 to $40 per hour, plus benefits. Current LVN/LPN license and BLS/CPR certification are required or willing to obtain.

Qualifications

• Current LVN/LPN license in practicing state.
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to acquire one.
• Experience in nursing management is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Follows established charting and incident reporting procedures.
• Manages narcotic counting, pharmacy orders, and restraint reduction as per protocol.
• Documents changes in patient conditions and notes, including nutrition, infections or weight loss.
• Uses the Quality Life Manual to identify, place, and monitor patients in programs.
• Notifies departments of patient room changes, LOA, admits, or discharges.
• Follows rounds with physicians when needed.

We are looking for a friendly Registered Nurse who will render nursing care within the scope of practice to ensure patient’s needs are met in accordance with standards of practice, physician orders, center policies as well as state, federal and local guidelines.

Qualifications

• Utilizes the Quality Life Manual for identification, placement, and monitoring of patients in the appropriate programs.
• Document and notify applicable departments of any patient's room changes, LOA, new admits, or discharges.
• Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.
