Responsibilities
  • Direct Nurse Aides in providing appropriate resident care
  • Administer resident medication properly
  • Implement care plans in compliance with guidelines and physician's orders
  • Perform treatments and transcribe physician orders accurately
  • Document residents' charts timely and accurately; complete nursing assessments as required
  • Participate in shift reports
  • Educate support staff on care needs and enforce nursing policies and procedures
  • Maintain a safe environment, adhering to infection control and body mechanics protocols
  • Respond to staffing shortages by arranging replacements
Requirements
  • Licensed Registered Nurse or Vocational Nurse in good standing
