Hireology is seeking a dedicated Charge Nurse – LVN or RN to lead care teams and ensure high-quality resident care in a busy setting.

You will guide Nurse Aides, administer medications, implement care plans, and collaborate on shift reports to maintain care continuity and safety.

Qualifications

• RN or LVN in good standing
• Strong technical, assessment, and documentation skills
• Excellent communication and ability to organize workflows
• Responds efficiently to emergencies with attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Direct Care Teams: Provide guidance to Nurse Aides to ensure appropriate care for residents.
• Administer Medications: Properly and safely administer resident medications as prescribed.
• Implement Care Plans: Execute resident care plans in compliance with company policies, federal guidelines, and physician orders.
• Perform Treatments: Deliver treatments as required to ensure resident health and comfort.
• Transcribe Orders: Accurately and promptly transcribe physician orders.
• Document Resident Care: Maintain timely and accurate documentation in resident charts and complete required nursing assessments.
• Collaborate During Shift Reports: Participate in shift reports to ensure seamless communication and care continuity.
• Educate Support Staff: Implement nursing policies and procedures, educating staff on the care needs of residents.
• Maintain Safety Standards: Promote a safe working environment by complying with infection control and body mechanic procedures.
• Address Staffing Needs: Respond to staffing shortages by arranging for replacement staff as necessary
