Responsibilities

• Direct Care Teams: Provide guidance to Nurse Aides to ensure appropriate care for residents.
• Administer Medications: Safely administer resident medications as prescribed.
• Implement Care Plans: Execute resident care plans per policies and physician orders.
• Perform Treatments: Deliver treatments to maintain resident health and comfort.
• Transcribe Orders: Accurately transcribe physician orders in a timely manner.
• Document Resident Care: Maintain timely and accurate documentation in charts and assessments.
• Collaborate During Shift Reports: Participate in shift reports for seamless communication.
• Educate Support Staff: Train staff on nursing policies and resident needs.
• Maintain Safety Standards: Ensure infection control and body mechanics procedures are followed.
• Address Staffing Needs: Arrange for replacements during shortages.

In this role, you will:

• Maintain Safety Standards: Promote a safe working environment by complying with infection control and body mechanic procedures.
• Address Staffing Needs: Respond to staffing shortages by arranging for replacement staff as necessary.
