Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in good standing.
• Excellent clinical assessment and documentation skills.
• Strong communication and organization to manage workflows.
• Ability to respond to emergencies with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Direct Care Teams: Provide guidance to Nurse Aides to ensure appropriate care for residents.
• Administer Medications: Properly and safely administer resident medications as prescribed.
• Implement Care Plans: Execute resident care plans in compliance with policies and orders.
• Perform Treatments: Deliver treatments to ensure resident health and comfort.
• Transcribe Orders: Accurately transcribe physician orders.
• Document Resident Care: Maintain timely and accurate documentation in charts and nursing assessments.
• Collaborate During Shift Reports: Participate in shift reports for continuity of care.
• Educate Support Staff: Implement nursing policies, training staff on care needs.
• Maintain Safety Standards: Promote safe environment, infection control and body mechanics procedures.
• Address Staffing Needs: Respond to shortages by arranging replacement staff.
