Responsibilities

• Transcribe physician orders accurately and promptly.
• Document resident care and complete nursing assessments in charts.
• Collaborate during shift reports to ensure seamless communication and care continuity.
• Educate staff on nursing policies and resident needs.
• Maintain safety standards by following infection control and body mechanics procedures.
• Address staffing needs by arranging replacement staff as necessary.

Your Impact as a Charge Nurse - LVN or RN

In this role, you will:

• Direct Care Teams: Provide guidance to Nurse Aides to ensure appropriate care for residents.

• Implement Care Plans: Execute resident care plans in compliance with company policies, federal guidelines, and physician orders.

• Document Resident Care: Maintain timely and accurate documentation in resident charts and complete required nursing assessments.
