Job summary

STG International, Inc. is seeking an LVN Charge Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care at The William R. Courtney Texas State Veterans Home in Temple, TX. Shifts available include Day 6am-6pm and Night 6pm-6am; full-time only.

The LVN will coordinate total nursing care, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Responsibilities include daily rounds, medication administration, and timely communication with physicians and supervisors.

Qualifications

• Provide quality nursing care to residents following STGi policies and procedures.
• Coordinate total nursing care and implement physician orders.
• Supervise direct resident care and document care provided.

Responsibilities

• Follow established standards of nursing practices and STGi policies.
• Supervise and evaluate all direct resident care and initiate corrective action.
• Obtain report from nurse being relieved and record information for follow-up.
