Job summary

Belmont Village Senior Living is seeking a Charge Nurse for the overnight shift (10:30pm–7:00am) with one weekend day variability. You will administer medications, support wellness initiatives, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead Caregivers and Medication Technicians to deliver high-quality resident care.

The ideal candidate has an active LVN/LPN license, CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days), and at least one year of medication administration experience in a supervisory

Qualifications

• Active LVN or LPN license in the state where the community is located.
• CPR certification required or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum one year of medication administration experience.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English.
• Intermediate computer and mobile device skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on physicians orders, coordinate services with ancillary providers and report to physicians and families any changes of condition or other pertinent clinical care information
• Provide medication administration to an assigned group of residents according to physicians orders and report any adverse reactions or clinical observations documenting as necessary
• Ensure resident care and service plans are followed by overseeing tasks of Medication Technicians and care providers
• Make appropriate situational decisions and manage conflict in a positive and constructive manner
• Update and review resident medical records, clinical documentation, and incident reports

ABOUT THE ROLE

(Full Time) Overnights 10:30pm to 7:00am

Varying schedule to include (1) weekend day.

As a Charge Nurse at Belmont Village, you will administer medications, support wellness initiatives, help ensure regulatory compliance and assist with quality monitoring. You will communicate with healthcare practitioners, ancillary providers, pharmacies, family members, and team members as needed ensuring timely clinical interventions and follow-up. You will lead and provide direction to Caregivers and Medication Technicians where applicable. The ideal candidate is reliable, takes pride in their work, and demonstrates empathy. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Active LVN or LPN license in the State in which this community is located

• CPR Certified or ability and willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire

• Minimum one year of medication administration experience preferred

• Prior supervisory experience preferred

• Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English

• Intermediate computer and mobile device skills
