Belmont Village Calabasas is seeking an overnight Charge Nurse for full-time shifts from 10:30pm to 7:00am, with a weekend day variation. You will administer medications, support wellness initiatives, and lead Caregivers and Medication Technicians while ensuring regulatory compliance and quality monitoring.

The ideal candidate holds an active LVN/LPN license, CPR certification, and at least one year of medication administration experience, with strong English communication and computer skills.

Qualifications

• Active California LVN or LPN license.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Minimum one year of medication administration experience preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Clear verbal and written English communication.
• Intermediate computer and mobile device skills.
• Professional, pleasant and team-oriented attitude.
• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on physicians orders, coordinate services with ancillary providers and report changes to physicians and families.
• Provide medication administration to an assigned group of residents per physicians orders and report adverse reactions or observations.
• Ensure resident care and service plans are followed by supervising Medication Technicians and care providers.
• Make appropriate situational decisions and manage conflict constructively.
• Update and review resident medical records, clinical documentation, and incident reports.

ABOUT THE ROLE

(Full Time) Overnights 10:30pm to 7:00am

Varying schedule to include (1) weekend day.

As a Charge Nurse at Belmont Village, you will administer medications, support wellness initiatives, help ensure regulatory compliance and assist with quality monitoring. You will communicate with healthcare practitioners, ancillary providers, pharmacies, family members, and team members as needed ensuring timely clinical interventions and follow-up. You will lead and provide direction to Caregivers and Medication Technicians where applicable. The ideal candidate is reliable, takes pride in their work, and demonstrates empathy. YOUR TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follow up on physicians orders, coordinate services with ancillary providers and report to physicians and families any changes of condition or other pertinent clinical care information
• Provide medication administration to an assigned group of residents according to physicians orders and report any adverse reactions or clinical observations documenting as necessary
• Ensure resident care and service plans are followed by overseeing tasks of Medication Technicians and care providers
• Make appropriate situational decisions and manage conflict in a positive and constructive manner
• Update and review resident medical records, clinical documentation, and incident reports

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Active LVN or LPN license in the State in which this community is located
• CPR Certified or ability and willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire
