Topaz Fiscal Services is seeking a registered/licensed practical nurse to oversee resident care, coordinate medications, and document treatment plans. The role involves supervising nursing staff, ensuring compliance with regulations, and communicating with physicians to deliver safe, high-quality care.

Qualified candidates hold an RN or LPN license in good standing and have at least two years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Current State RN/LPN license with a minimum of 2 years related experience.
• Good standing in the state registry is required.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate effective use of personnel, supplies, equipment and facilities; obtain medications and medical records to provide safe, efficient and therapeutic care to residents.
• Contact physicians as necessary and ensure physician interventions are timely and appropriate; ensure appropriate documentation of resident care.
• Responsible during the shift for the total nursing care of residents in the assigned unit.
• Explain procedures and treatments and care plan to residents.
• Transcribe physician's orders to resident charts, medication/treatment cards and care plans as required.
