Job summary

Lodge Nursing & Rehab is hiring an LPN Charge Nurse for the night shift (7pm–7am) to deliver high-quality resident care. Join a caring place healthcare group facility that supports leadership, growth, and comprehensive benefits.

The role involves supervising aides, administering medications, and coordinating with the care team to maintain resident safety and dignity. Ohio LPN licensure and CPR are required.

Qualifications

• LPN license active in Ohio.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current CPR certification.
• One year of experience in healthcare, long-term care, or skilled nursing preferred.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
• Compassion, professionalism, and a positive attitude.
• Ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations.
• Physical ability to perform nursing duties, including assisting and transferring residents as needed.
• Commitment to resident dignity, safety, and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
• Administer medications, treatments, and monitor residents conditions.
• Communicate with physicians, healthcare team members, residents, and families to ensure continuity of care. Accurately document care and resident status in the medical record.
• Supervise nurse aides and medication aides, ensuring procedures and resident rights are upheld.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living when needed.
• Promote a safe, clean, calm, and supportive environment for residents and staff.
• Follow infection control, safety, and HIPAA guidelines.
• Participate in in-service programs, educational opportunities, and team meetings.
