Job summary

The Charge Nurse will supervise CNAs, deliver direct patient care, and help develop care plans in line with MFA policies, ensuring quality care and family satisfaction in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Current license by the Virginia Board of Nursing to practice as an LPN.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form.
• Ability to interact with a variety of people and foster a team philosophy.
• Ability to negotiate and interact with staff, patients, families, and professional/regulatory agents.

Responsibilities

• The Charge Nurse supervises CNAs and provides direct patient care in accordance with state, federal and MFA Nursing Policies and Procedures.
• This position also assists in the development/implementation of patient care plans, identifies patient goals/approaches, resolves patient/family concerns, and summarizes concerns for Clinical Unit Manager.
