Job summary

Sunrise Nursing & Memory Care is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to serve as Charge Nurse on the day shift. You will oversee care delivery, support staff, and ensure residents receive attentive, respectful care.

The role requires MO LPN license and BLS/CPR certification, with leadership experience a plus. You will supervise CNAs, document care, administer medications, and participate in rounds and care planning within a skilled nursing/memory care setting.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in Missouri.
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Leadership or charge experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support CNAs and direct care staff.
• Provide and document resident care according to care plans.
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects.
• Report changes in resident conditions to RNs or physicians.
• Participate in rounds, admissions, discharges, and care planning.
• Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and facility policies.
• Maintain accurate records and follow all medication protocols.
