Job summary

Hathorne Hill Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Danvers, MA is seeking a Charge Nurse (LPN or RN) to lead the nursing team and oversee daily department operations. You will supervise staff, make rounds, and provide medical oversight to residents while ensuring quality care.

The role requires MA RN licensure, CPR, and strong English communication. Geriatric or rehab experience is preferred, with ability to lift and perform physically demanding tasks as part of patient care.

Qualifications

• Active MA RN license with current credentials.
• CPR certification required.
• Experience in geriatric nursing or rehabilitation preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend English; follow instructions.
• Strong communication and supervisory capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing staff on assigned shifts.
• Make rounds to assess resident condition and deliver care oversight.
• Respond to emergencies and report medical changes to physicians.
• Verify physician orders and ensure chart accuracy.
• Prepare pre-admission reports and maintain a safe environment.
• Conduct chart audits and maintain documentation accuracy.
• Serve as supervisor for 2nd/3rd shifts and weekends as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Supervisor/Administrator.
