Job summary

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Unit Specific Certification such as ACLS or PALS as required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution; BSN within four years if not already obtained.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate unit resources to ensure appropriate staffing levels.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Direct the care team through delegation, coordination, and communication.
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to care and adjust plans as needed.
• Ensure compliance with policies, licensure, safety and quality standards.
• Activate chain of command and rapid response when necessary to protect patient and staff safety.
