Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in good standing.
• Strong technical, assessment, and documentation skills are essential.
• Excellent communication and ability to organize workflows; responsive in emergencies.
• Ability to multitask and maintain accuracy in busy conditions.

Responsibilities

• Direct Care Teams: guide aides to ensure residents receive proper care.
• Administer Medications safely as prescribed.
• Implement Care Plans in line with policies, laws, and orders.
• Perform Treatments to maintain resident health and comfort.
• Transcribe Orders accurately and promptly.
• Document Resident Care in charts and complete nursing assessments.
• Collaborate During Shift Reports to ensure continuity of care.
• Educate Support Staff on nursing policies and resident needs.
• Maintain Safety Standards with infection control and proper body mechanics.
• Address Staffing Needs by arranging replacements as required.
