Job summary

THRYVE Healthcare is hiring a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver total nursing care in our skilled nursing facility. The RN will oversee staff, delegate tasks, and ensure adherence to policies and procedures while maintaining residents’ physical, emotional, and social well-being.

Responsibilities include collaborating on individualized care plans, administering medications, educating residents and families, and serving as a charge nurse.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing education program.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois.
• No history of abuse convictions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to follow facility policies and support quality care.
• Must be able to work with residents of varying ages and medical needs.
• Must meet physical job requirements including lifting, bending and standing.

Responsibilities

• Provide total care for residents on assigned unit during scheduled shift.
• Collaborate with allied health team to develop individualized care plans.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per policy.
• Maintain environment supporting residents’ physical, emotional, and social well-being.
• Educate residents and families about care plans, treatments, and procedures.
• Monitor team performance and support staff development and evaluations.
• Assign and oversee nursing duties to ensure tasks are completed appropriately.
• Stay current on facility procedures and participate in in-service training.
• Identify and respond to significant changes in residents’ conditions.
• Accurately document care and changes in condition per guidelines.
• Act as charge nurse and provide clinical support and decision-making guidance.
• Follow all facility and departmental safety protocols.
