UI Health is seeking an Administrative Nurse I for 8E Adult Psychiatry on a 100% full-time day shift in Chicago, IL. You will direct patient care, coordinate staff assignments, and work closely with the nursing leadership to ensure high-quality care and efficient unit operations.

The ideal candidate has IL RN licensure, 1+ year inpatient psychiatry experience, and strong leadership and communication skills. BLS/CPR and unit certifications are required; CPI certification is a plus.

Qualificações

• Current IL Registered Nurse license required.
• Minimum of 1 year inpatient psychiatry RN experience.
• Minimum of 1 year charge nurse experience.
• AHA BLS/CPR and unit-specific certifications up to date.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Proficient computer skills and ability to learn EHR quickly.

Responsabilidades

• Direct patient care on assigned unit during shift.
• Determine and adjust patient assignments per NPAS criteria.
• Coordinate staff breaks to maintain continuity of care.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to promote teamwork.
• Provide guidance and supervision to unit personnel.
• Lead and participate in unit-based quality initiatives.
• Engage in problem solving and escalation as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of patient status to support nursing and medical teams.
