Position Summary

The Charge Nurse manages the daily operations of the emergency department to ensure quality patient care, compliance with regulations, and effective team management. The role requires independent management under the guidance of a Nurse Manager/Director, promoting efficient operations and adherence to legal and organizational standards. The Charge Nurse ensures compliance with JCAHO, the Nurse Practice Act, and maintains departmental operations 24/7.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing school. Preferred: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing.
• Experience: At least 1 year RN experience.
• Certifications: Valid license to practice nursing, CPR certification.
• Professional Requirements: Current licensure and certification as required by law.
