View Point Health is seeking a Charge Nurse for its Covington, GA detox unit. The role leads a multidisciplinary nursing team, oversees nursing services in a short-term residential detox program, and ensures care plans and documentation meet DBHDD standards.

The Charge Nurse will supervise staff, administer medications, and participate in leadership meetings. Requires an RN license in Georgia, 3+ years of nursing experience, and strong clinical leadership.

Formación

• Associate degree in nursing from an accredited college or university.
• Current Georgia license as a Registered Professional Nurse.
• Three (3) years of professional nursing experience or one (1) year at RN 2.
• Must pass criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the nursing team and oversee nursing services in the detoxification program.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team to provide coverage and support as needed.
• Ensure all quality measures are met, including treatment plans, orders, and daily notes within 24 hours.
• Develop and refresh workflow processes and SOPs; audit charts and ECR records weekly.
• Provide direct nursing care, perform admissions assessments, and maintain medical records.
• Administer medications per agency guidelines and ensure unit supplies are stocked.
• Manage nursing schedule and staffing, addressing callouts and coverage.
