Job summary

Alliance Spine & Pain Centers, a Georgia-based ambulatory surgery network, seeks a licensed RN or LPN to join a fast-paced, patient-focused team as a circulator, pre-operative or post-operative nurse in one of our JCAHO-certified centers. You must hold a GA RN license in good standing, BLS and ACLS.

The role includes SOP development, staff coordination, training, scheduling, inventory control and patient advocacy, with a weekdays-only schedule and competitive compensation, 401k, generous

As an integral part of the surgery center team, the candidate must be licensed and in good standing as a registered or licensed practical nurse with the state of Georgia. All while demonstrating the proper skill set to deliver uncompromising care as a circulator, pre-operative or post-operative nurse in a fast-paced, dynamic setting in one of Alliance Spine & Pain’s JCAHO-certified ambulatory surgery centers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop, review and/or revise standard operating procedures in all aspects of center’s operations.
• Inform staff regarding important issues pertaining to center’s regulatory performance standards.
• Direct day to day operations
• Develop procedures to maximize productivity
• Establish need to replace existing or purchase of additional medical equipment
• Work with administrator to recruit nurses, surgical technicians, and medical assistants to fill vacancies and/or demand
• Orient and train new employees
• Direct and monitor workloads according to schedule
• Assist with employee’s annual evaluation
• Mediate conflict resolution among staff
• Assure stock inventory is maintained
• Resolve patient complaints/direct to appropriate authority
• Perform as staff nurse when scheduled
• Collect information, process, and evaluate information and/or make recommendations relative to factors that affect patient demand
• Assist administrator with staff meetings, quality assurance system, infection control, keeping SDS book up to date and available to all employees, in-services, implementing new policies, and training on new equipment
• Enforce adherence to standard operating procedures by all employees
• Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Nursing strongly preferred
• Must have current GA State RN license, BLS, ACLS and other required training
• Knowledge of equipment, instrumentation and supplies required to perform specific responsibilities
