Job summary

Eastside Medical Center is seeking a registered nurse to coordinate delivery of quality nursing care across birth through lifecycle. You will communicate patient care and staff concerns to the appropriate leaders while providing clinical care as needed during census fluctuations.

The role requires a Georgia RN license and multiple certifications (BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.). Experience in a hospital setting and orientation within specialty areas is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing (required).
• Georgia RN licensure required (or NLC/eNCL multistate).
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS required; additional certifications as applicable (see addendum).
• NRP, AWHONN fetal monitoring program within 12 months.
• PEARS certification required at Piedmont Athens Hospital.
• PALS/ACLS as applicable per unit.
• TNCC/ENPC as required at specified hospitals.

• Coordinates the delivery of quality nursing care during the shift.
• Provides clinical care as needed to meet census demands.
• Communicates patient care and staff concerns to leadership.
• Serves as a resource for guidance and staff support.
