Job summary

Piedmont Rockdale Hospital seeks a qualified registered nurse to coordinate delivery of quality care from birth through the lifecycle. You will support clinical care needs during busy shifts and communicate patient care and staff concerns to leadership.

The role requires Georgia RN licensure, BCLS, ACLS, and PALS with several specialty certifications; 1 year hospital experience is expected. A rigorous addendum outlines ongoing certification requirements within 180 days.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing (Required).
• 1 year of nursing experience in a hospital setting (Required).
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• RN licensure in Georgia (Required).
• ACLS, PALS, BCLS certifications required.
• Chemotherapy/Biotherapy cert required prior to independent chemotherapy administration.
• NRP by end of orientation (Women’s Services) required.
• PEARS Certification required at Piedmont Athens Hospital.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate delivery of quality nursing care across the patient lifecycle and shift.
• Provide clinical care as needed to meet census needs.
• Communicate patient care and staff concerns to the appropriate leader.
• Serve as a resource and guidance for nursing staff.
