Qualifications

• RN license in state of practice; compact licenses must transfer within 60 days of start.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Unit Specific Certification (ACLS, PALS, etc.).
• Experience in the assigned clinical area.
• Mentoring experience.
• BSN from an accredited institution; BSN to be completed within four years of hire/promotion.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical, social, and psychological status of patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop individualized plan of care.
• Coordinate staffing, time, supplies, and resources to deliver care.
• Direct the care team through delegation and collaboration.
• Maintain appropriate documentation and ensure compliance with standards.
• Lead unit operations and mentor staff for professionalism and safety.
• Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives and rapid response when needed.
