Job summary

BHC Alhambra Hospital in Rosemead, CA is seeking a Charge Nurse (RN) to lead patient care on the unit. The role requires prescribing, delegating, coordinating, and evaluating nursing care in collaboration with the health team, following the nursing process and standards of care.

Responsibilities include nursing assessments within eight hours of admission, documentation, staff delegation, and supervision of ADLs, with LVN/LPT and Program Specialist oversight.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years experience as a registered nurse in a psychiatric health care facility.
• Currently licensed to practice by the State Board of Nursing.

• Document and reassess significant changes in the patient’s condition in compliance with facility’s policy.

• Coordinate and evaluate patient care with the health team using the nursing process.

Job Description: The Charge Nurse (R.N.) prescribes, delegates, coordinates, and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members and in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices. Supervisory responsibilities for LVN/LPT and Program Specialist.
