Location: Various locations across Indiana, including Evansville Psychiatric Children's Center, Evansville State Hospital, Logansport State Hospital, Madison State Hospital, Richmond State Hospital, and the Indianapolis Neurodiagnostic Institute,
Employment Type: Full-Time
Hourly Rate: $48.00/hr (+5.00 differentials)

Qualifications:

  • Soft Skills: Strong communication, patient advocacy, crisis management, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prioritize, organize, and delegate daily patient care assignments.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and supervise support staff in medication administration.
  • Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
  • Document patient conditions, clinical observations, and transfer forms accurately.
  • Educate patients and families on medications, procedures, and treatment goals.
  • Respond to emergencies, including de-escalating agitated patients.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and facility protocols.
  • Mentor staff, provide unit orientation, and support workflow coordination.
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to refine care processes and improve outcomes.
