Job summary

Regions Hospital in Minnesota seeks a Charge Master Coding Analyst to join our team. This role analyzes clinical records against billed items, reviews chargemaster details, and supports accurate revenue capture across departments.

You will coordinate audits, mentor staff, and collaborate with medical records, nursing, finance, and patient accounting to resolve coding issues. A CPC or RHIT/RHIA and 5 years hospital experience are required.

Qualifications

• Degree in HIM, Business Administration or related field and/or CPC certification.
• 5+ years hospital experience.
• 3+ years coding, billing or patient accounting experience.
• Certification in CPC, RHIT or RHIA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze records to compare documentation with charged items.
• Review chargemaster details and ensure accuracy.
• Coordinate and report audit outcomes on charge errors and data processing issues.
• Collaborate with medical records, nursing, finance and patient accounting to resolve issues.
