Charge Entry Specialist -- Therapy Services

Position: Charge Entry Specialist (Therapy Services) – Full-Time

Location: Raleigh Office

The Charge Entry Specialist is responsible for:

  1. Daily follow-up of approvals and denials.
  2. Ensuring Therapist notes are entered into the system within 48 hours of appointments.
  3. Sending out weekly emails to facilitate a smooth month-end process.

Qualifications:

  • One year of experience in medical insurance within a clinical environment.
  • Experience with insurance software such as GE Centricity is preferred.
  • Proficiency in basic computer programs.
  • Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and discretion.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Effective verbal and phone communication skills.

Must be able to work cooperatively and maintain effective relationships with management, supervisors, and co-workers across departments.
