Job summary

Archbold Medical Center in Georgia is seeking a Charge Audit Analyst in Surgery to perform concurrent and defense audits, coordinate third-party payor audits, and address patient inquiries about charges and services. This role requires strong knowledge of billing practices and clinical procedures.

You will research undocumented charges, recommend Chargemaster updates, and contribute to process improvement and reporting.

Qualifications

• Audit experience or knowledge of auditing practices and standards.
• Knowledge of health care compliance regulations and medical coding reimbursement.
• Extensive knowledge of clinical procedures, medical terminology, medical documentation and billing practices.
• Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet applications, and database software.

Responsibilities

• Perform concurrent and defense audits
• Coordinate third party payor audits
• Address patient inquiries regarding charges and services
• Research all undocumented charges
• Make recommendations for Chargemaster additions/deletions
