Job summary

Royal Oak is seeking a Packaging Technician D to operate the machines required to package charcoal briquets. You may work with Scales, Bagger, Sewing Machine, Checkweigher, Bundler, Robot, Wrapper, or Trunkline.

The role requires LOTO certification within 14 days of hire and the ability to operate equipment at standard run rates, identify critical elements on each machine, and perform basic corrective actions.

Qualifications

• LOTO Certified within 14-days of position/hire.
• Able to operate equipment at standard run rates.
• Able to identify quality issues
• Lifting up to 60 lbs.
• Able to perform a change over w/ assistance.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging equipment such as Scales, Bagger, Sewing Machine, Checkweigher, Bundler, Robot, Wrapper, and/or Trunkline.
• Maintain a clean work area and identify quality issues.
• Work in a packaging area with varying weather/temperature conditions.
