Job summary

Royal Oak Enterprises LLC in Salem, MO is seeking a Packaging Technician D to run packaging equipment for charcoal briquets. You will operate machines such as Scales, Bagger, Sewing Machine, Checkweigher, Bundler, Robot, Wrapper, and Trunkline to meet production run rates.

You will identify quality issues, perform basic corrective actions, and help with changeovers while keeping a clean, safe work area. This role requires LOTO certification within 14 days of hire and involves no travel.

Qualifications

• LOTO certified within 14 days of hire.
• Operate packaging equipment (Scales, Bagger, Sewing Machine, Checkweigher, Bundler, Robot, Wrapper, Trunkline).
• Lift up to 60 lbs and perform repetitive movements.
• Work in varying weather and temperature conditions.

Responsibilities

Job description

Royal Oak is looking for a Packaging Technician D. This position is responsible for the operation of the machines required to package charcoal briquets. Packaging technicians are able to operate one of the following pieces of equipment; Scales, Bagger, Sewing Machine, Checkweigher, Bundler, Robot, Wrapper, and/or Trunkline.

Position Requirements/Qualifications:

LOTO Certified within 14-days of position/hire

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

• Able to operate equipment at standard run rates
• Able to identify critical elements on each machine
• Able to perform basic corrective actions
• Able to perform a change over w/ assistance
• Maintain a clean work area
• Identify quality issues
• May involve repetitive movements
• Lifting up to 60 lbs.
• Frequent bending, stooping, pushing and pulling as necessary
• Due to the open environment of the packaging area, must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions
