Job summary

Omaha Children's Museum is seeking a seasonal part-time elf to lead a scripted Santa arrival show and guide guests during meet-and-greet moments. This on-site role supports the Education team during the holiday season and requires enthusiasm, reliability, and strong guest interaction skills.

Responsibilities include memorizing lines, performing in full costume, interacting with visitors of all ages, and assisting with photo opportunities.

• Assist with photo taking for families

Position Summary:

Come be a part of an immersive experience that includes a scripted show helping Santa find his way to the museum. As a seasonal character you will be taking on the larger than life role as one of Santa’s elves! Lead the short performance and guide guests through a meet and greet with Santa.

Physical Qualification:

• Stand and walk for extended periods to engage with visitors and program participants
• Navigate different areas of the Museum to assist visitors and ensure a positive experienceBend, stoop, and reach to conduct inventory
• Perform repetitive tasks, including administrative work and designing resources using computer software programs
• Push or pull equipment, such as a small flatbed and wheeled cases
• Lift and carry items up to 20 pounds, including educational materials, art-making supplies, and cleaning products, as needed
