Qualifications

• Active California bar admission or ability to be admitted promptly.
• Direct experience with Chapter 11 or bankruptcy matters.
• Strong legal research and persuasive writing skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines and detailed case materials with accuracy.
• Professional communication with clients and counsel and court personnel.

Responsibilities

• Support Chapter 11 matters, restructurings, contested matters, and adversary proceedings.
• Draft and revise pleadings, motions, oppositions, replies, declarations, discovery, and related bankruptcy court filings.
• Perform legal research on the Bankruptcy Code, FRBP, local rules, and state law issues.
• Assist with automatic stay issues, cash collateral, claims objections, plan confirmations, and related disputes.
• Prepare clients and witnesses for hearings, depositions, mediations, and other proceedings; communicate with clients and opposing counsel.
• Maintain organized case files, research notes, deadline tracking, and matter updates in a fast-moving environment.
• Coordinate with partners and senior attorneys on strategy and litigation risk.
