Job summary

Verrus, LLC is seeking a Restructuring & Bankruptcy Litigation Attorney to join our team across multiple locations in the United States. Basic salary + bonus/package dependant with qualification and experience.

The firm emphasizes a business-minded, solution-focused approach and collaborates closely with clients to navigate complex bankruptcy matters and litigation, ensuring decisions align with clients’ objectives. Hybrid work is available to accommodate caseloads.

Qualifications

• Approximately 7+ years of bankruptcy litigation and/or complex commercial litigation experience at a major law firm.
• Special Counsel or Senior Associate level candidates.
• Experience on debtor or creditor side, including contested financing, sale and plan disputes.
• Lead counsel or second chair in adversary proceedings, contested matters or bankruptcy-related appeals.
• Strong experience across investigations and discovery, pleadings, depositions, briefing, trial preparation and client communication.
• Excellent academic credentials and an active J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, supervise junior attorneys and articulate legal strategies.
