Jones Walker LLP is seeking an experienced Bankruptcy Paralegal to join our Houston, Miami, or New Orleans office. This role supports attorneys across the Firm’s Bankruptcy Team on complex Chapter 11 matters in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, detail-oriented, and experienced handling bankruptcy matters from inception through confirmation and post-confirmation proceedings.

Qualifications

• Experience with Chapter 11 bankruptcy matters is required.
• Strong organizational and detail orientation are essential.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in all phases of Chapter 11 from inception to post-confirmation.
• Prepare, review, and file petitions, schedules, notices, motions, and proofs of claim using CM/ECF.
• Conduct research using PACER and court databases.
