Job summary

Qualifications

• Significant experience in bankruptcy, restructuring, creditors' rights, and related commercial litigation.
• Demonstrated experience handling Chapter 11 matters and complex bankruptcy proceedings.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, advocacy, and case-management skills.
• Ability to manage client relationships and lead matters with limited supervision.
• A portable book of business or demonstrated ability to develop new client relationships is a plus, particularly for candidates at the junior partner level.

Responsibilities

• Represent secured lenders, unsecured creditors, debtors, creditors' committees, and other stakeholders in Chapter 11 and other bankruptcy proceedings.
• Handle complex bankruptcy litigation, contested matters, adversary proceedings, and disputes involving creditors' rights and debt recovery.
• Advise clients on financial restructurings, distressed transactions, workouts, and insolvency-related issues.
• Manage matters from initial strategy through resolution, including court appearances, motion practice, negotiations, and settlement discussions.
• Work directly with clients and collaborate with attorneys across litigation, corporate, and finance practices on distressed business matters.
• Contribute to client development, relationship management, and the growth of the bankruptcy and restructuring practice.
