Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Delivers expert spiritual care and crisis intervention to patients, families, and IU Health colleagues.
• Provides support to the patient’s community and to IU Health staff as needed.
• Responsible for on-call spiritual care services as needed.

• Requires Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. Master of Divinity Degree or its equivalency from an accredited institution as certified by the Association of Professional Chaplains or cognate body with similar standards preferred.
• Requires 0-3 years of spiritual care experience in a related field.
• Requires a minimum of one unit of Clinical Pastoral Education accredited preferably through the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education or equivalent experience.
• Prefer endorsement and maintenance of endorsement by a religious community.
