Job summary

Indiana University Health System seeks a chaplain to provide expert spiritual care, crisis intervention, and support for patients, families, and colleagues. On-call coverage is provided as needed.

The role requires a bachelor's degree, and preferably a Master of Divinity or equivalent, with CPE experience and endorsement considerations. 0-3 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Master of Divinity Degree or equivalent preferred from an accredited institution as certified by the APC or cognate body.
• 0-3 years of spiritual care experience in a related field.
• Minimum of one unit of Clinical Pastoral Education accredited preferably through APC or equivalent.
• Endorsement by a religious community preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers expert spiritual care and crisis intervention.
• Supports patients, their families, their community, and IU Health colleagues.
• Responsible for on-call services as needed.
