Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking a part-time on-call Chaplain to deliver expert spiritual care, crisis intervention, and support to patients, families, and colleagues. The role requires responsiveness to on-call requests within 30 minutes and collaboration with the care team.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree, preferred Master of Divinity or equivalent per APCh standards, plus ACPE education; 0–3 years experience; endorsement by a religious community preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Master of Divinity Degree or its equivalency from an accredited institution as certified by the Association of Professional Chaplains or cognate body preferred.
• 0–3 years of spiritual care experience in a related field.
• Minimum of one unit of Clinical Pastoral Education accredited preferably through ACPE or equivalent.
• Endorsement by a religious community preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-call spiritual care and crisis intervention to patients, families, and IU Health colleagues.
• Deliver compassionate support and chaplaincy services within the hospital setting.
• Respond to on-call requests within 30 minutes as required.
