Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking a part-time Chaplain to support Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis, IN. This role provides spiritual care, crisis intervention, and educational services to patients, families, and staff.

The position requires a Bachelor's and a Master of Divinity or equivalent, board certification within 2 years, and a preference for Catholic priests. 0–3 years of experience and four CPE units are expected. On-call duties may apply.

Qualifications

• Requires board certification within 2 years of hire date through APCh or cognate body.
• Catholic Priest preferred.
• Requires 0–3 years of spiritual care experience in a related field.
• Minimum of four CPE units (ACPE preferred).

Responsibilities

• Delivers expert spiritual care, crisis intervention and support of patients, their supporting community, and IU Health colleagues.
• Serves on various institutional committees as assigned.
• Provides educational services to students, colleagues and internal and external communities/groups.
• Responsible for on-call services as needed.
