Job summary

Westchester Medical Center Health Network is seeking a Chaplain Resident to participate in a Clinical Pastoral Education Program designed to develop pastoral formation, competence and reflection. You will engage in supervised clinical practice in ministry and participate in integrated group and individual educational activities.

Under direct supervision, the role involves related work as required, contributing to holistic patient care and spiritual support within the healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• 60 credits toward M.Div or Master of Hebrew Letters degree.
• 60 credits toward Master's in counseling, psychology, education, or therapeutic field.
• Bachelor's degree in theology.
• Master's degree and one unit of clinical pastoral education.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a Clinical Pastoral Education program to develop pastoral formation and competence.
• Engage in supervised clinical practice in ministry and participate in group and individual training activities.

Education

Either:

• (a) successful completion of 60 credits* toward a Master of Divinity or Master of Hebrew Letters degree
• (b) successful completion of 60 credits* towards a Master's degree in counseling, psychology, education, or therapeutic field
• (c) possession of a Bachelor's degree* in theology
• (d) possession of a Master's degree* and successful completion of one unit of clinical pastoral education
