Job summary

Halifax Health Daytona is seeking a Chaplain for the Palliative Care team to support patients and families and participate in care planning to ensure the best possible quality of life. The chaplain will perform spiritual care assessments and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.

Requirements include a Master of Divinity, membership in the College of Chaplains, one CPE unit, and affirmation by a recognized religious organization.

Qualifications

• Masters of Divinity required.
• Member of the College of Chaplains.
• One basic unit of completed CPE required.
• Affirmed by a recognized religious organization.
• Health-care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and document spiritual care assessments.
• Provide spiritual support and services to the patient/caregiver.
