Job summary

CHRISTUS Health is seeking a Chaplain, Non-Certified (NC) I, to join our full-time spiritual care team under the Director of Spiritual Care. The role includes providing for patients' spiritual needs and offering prayer or reflection as appropriate.

Responsibilities include assessing, documenting, and delivering spiritual care across crises, grief, end-of-life care, and faith-related needs, while collaborating with the palliative care and interprofessional teams to plan care.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in theology, ministry, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, Provides, And Documents Effective Spiritual Care To Patients, Families, And Staff In A Variety Of Situations (crisis intervention, grief, end-of-life care).
• Gathers data for ongoing spiritual assessment of patients/families.
• Develops and implements a spiritual plan of care based on assessment.
• Documents spiritual assessment and plan of care in the patient’s medical record.
