Job summary

Hartford HealthCare is seeking a Chaplain to provide spiritual care at Hartford Hospital, a respected Level 1 Trauma Center. The Chaplain will support patients, families, and staff, working collaboratively to address physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.

The ideal candidate holds an MDiv or DMin with focus in pastoral care, has clinical pastoral education, and one or more years of relevant experience. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to work in a diverse environment.

Qualifications

• Must have formal graduate theological education in pastoral care, theology, and/or psychology.
• One or more years’ experience in pastoral ministry and/or hospital chaplaincy.
• Able to communicate effectively orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Provides spiritual care to patients, families, and staff.
• Collaborates with interprofessional care team for holistic healing.
• Maintains documentation of spiritual care services.
