Job summary

Providence Regional Medical Center Everett is hiring a Chaplain to provide professional spiritual care across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings, serving patients, families, and staff as part of the spiritual health team.

The Chaplain will align with the Mission and values of Providence, support a patient-centered approach, and contribute to a culture of compassionate care and ethical service in a dynamic hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Theology, Divinity, Spirituality, Pastoral Ministry or equivalent education/experience.
• Four clinical pastoral education units.
• Within 3 years of hire: National Chaplain Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional and competent spiritual care ministry to patients, families and staff across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.
• Serve as a member of the healthcare team, implementing the department's mission, values, policies and procedures.

Job description

The Chaplain provides professional and competent spiritual care ministry, and is responsible for serving the spiritual, religious, and emotional needs of others in inpatient, outpatient, and community settings. As a member of the healthcare team, the chaplain is directly responsible for the implementation of the mission, values, polices, and procedures of the Department of Spiritual Health Services and the facility in which they serve.

Required Qualifications:
