Job summary

Sunrise Retirement Community in Sioux City, IA seeks a compassionate part-time Chaplain to provide spiritual support across Nursing, Assisted Living, and Independent Living communities. 20–25 hours weekly with multi-faith collaboration and resident-focused service.

Responsibilities include leading worship, pastoral counseling, in-room visits, and coordination with local clergy, while maintaining records and supporting staff.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of chaplaincy, ministry, or related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Theology or related field preferred (not required).
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to plan, organize, and lead regular services and small groups.

Sunrise is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Chaplain to provide spiritual and emotional support to residents, families, and staff across our Nursing, Assisted Living, and Independent Living communities. This is a meaningful opportunity to serve seniors through faith, ministry, and connection.

This is a part time position approximately 20-25 hours a week.
