Trinity Health PACE seeks a part-time Chaplain to serve as a clinical spiritual care provider across care sites in the Gaithersburg area. The role supports patients, families, and staff by addressing spiritual distress, facilitating religious practices, and contributing to holistic care planning.
The chaplain collaborates with the interdisciplinary team, documents in the medical record, and develops spiritual care programs. Requires Master’s degree and CPE; Board Certification preferred.

As an integrated member of the interdisciplinary healthcare team, the chaplain assesses spiritual needs, delivers individualized care aligned with diverse beliefs, documents interventions in the medical record, and contributes to holistic care planning. The role also includes developing and improving spiritual care programs, educating staff, promoting workplace spirituality, facilitating religious practices in collaboration with community faith leaders, and maintaining sacred spaces. Additionally, the chaplain is expected to uphold ethical and professional standards, engage in ongoing self-care and formation, and possess the necessary education, clinical training, and communication skills to effectively meet the spiritual needs of the community served.
Monday - Friday, Morning Shift - 20 hours per week
Pay Range: $27.66-$34.57/hr
