Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Current, unrestricted LPN license in Kansas.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Current CPR certification with in-person skills verification.
• Knowledge of basic nursing principles and patient care.

Aufgaben

• Provide skilled nursing care under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Perform selected skilled actions in curative, rehabilitative, palliative, or preventive nursing care.
• Be responsible and accountable for decisions based on nursing experience and education.
• Assist the Registered Nurse in carrying out the plan of care.
• Assist with preparation, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of the patient care plan.
• Observe, record, and report patient symptoms and changes in condition to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with patient rehabilitation to encourage independence and utilize individual capabilities.
• Foster teamwork and participate in team and staff conferences.
• Maintain professional growth through participation in nursing organizations and on-the-job learning.
